Treatise on the Presence of God

“When I began to write this exercise of the presence of God for Your Highness, I did not intend to have it printed, as it seemed to me that it could be collected in little more than a sheet and offered by hand. But as I came to understand its importance and recognize the advantages it has over other exercises taught by spiritual masters, for the reasons that devout readers will find in it, I decided to extend it a bit more and arrange this small treatise and share it with all who may wish to benefit from it, assuring them and making them certain that with it they will be able to dispense with a multitude of books and experience in a short time what they would not have understood or attained by other means in many years. Receive my goodwill and pray to the Lord for me, that in everything I may fulfill His will.”
