The Scotistic Project

We are very excited to introduce the public to a major project undertaken by Roman-Seraphic Books.

The Scotistic Project is meant to revitalize as much of the Franciscan Theological Tradition as possible, by translating and re-printing the most important works from the Scotistic School of thought.

Fr. Sebastian Dupasquier’s
Summa Theologiae Scotisticae

Our first work in translation is the classical Summa Theologiae Scotisticae of Sebastien Dupasquier of the Friars Minor Conventual.

We believe this work to be of the greatest importance in providing a complete course of Theology in the School of the Subtle Doctor that is easy to understand, and solid in doctrine.

As of today we have released 3 of 5 Disputations in Fr. Dupasquier’s Treatise on Creation, which we have released exclusively for the St. Basil Institute
