A Scotistic treatment of the Theology of Creation from Sebastien Dupasquier’s “Summa Theologiae Scotisticae”. This work covers disputed questions regarding the Six Days of Creation, the Fall, and Original Sin in the school of the Subtle Doctor, drawing from the authorities of Scripture, Patristics, and the Infallible Judgements of the Church.
Dupasquier’s Summa Theologiae Scotisticae was a monumental effort to systematize Catholic theology according to the mind of Duns Scotus, by seeking to summarize his Century of doctrinal reflection by the great Masters, Vulpes, Mastrius, Belluto, and Cdl. Brancati; he indeed crowned the so-called “Golden Age of Scotism” with this wonderful work by making the best of Scotism accessible for the Theological training of the young Friars.
